Wearing art

I have a thing for earrings. I love collecting them and now I have been making earrings with beads. These are miniature artworks or sculptures/panels one can wear. One of the many ways to express ourselves visually and symbolically.

Besides wearing art, and the joy of knowing that people choose to express themselves with a piece of my making feels great. Being commissioned to make something special for someone or making a gift for a friend is humbling and amazing.

I am exploring making necklaces as well!

Bead weaving has become an obsession. I also explored making a self portrait on the loom. It was a bigger piece, when I was taking it off, my flimsy plastic loom broke. So friends, invest in a good loom if you are inclined to weave beads.
